MAKENGINEERING KITS
Grant funded by Institute of Museum and Library Services
"The chatter of the ideas and how they [water color bots] would work, and then when working together and changing it completely to create something different or making additional things to complement their creation." (Chesla, Elementary School Librarian)
MAKENGINEERING KITS
The Story
The purpose of this grant was to design, develop and refine low-cost MAKEngineering take-home kits that provide learning experiences for youth in grades 3-6 and their families/caregivers.
On this site, we include information regarding our five kits including the packaging and activity instructions, a shopping list with links to various websites to order material, a list of consumables that will need to be replaced, a list of appropriate books to utilize with each of the bags, and images taken from youth.
